Has overall responsibility for practice staff, services and premises. He is supported in his role by clinical staff, receptionists, administrative and secretarial staff.
Practice Nurses - Jo McDonald, Lucy James and Nicola Baker
In addition to general nursing clinics, the nurses hold cervical smear clinics and childhood immunisation and flu clinics. They can also advise you about vaccination requirements for overseas travel. Patients who suffer from chronic diseases such as diabetes and coronary heart disease are also seen regularly by our nurses.
The nurses work closely with the doctors, and with the district nurses and health visitors.
Healthcare Assistant - Carole Keylock
Our Healthcare Assistant is part our our nursing team and offers appointments to help patients to stop smoking, undertake health checks and can offer some immunisations to patients in addition to taking blood and other duties.
Phlebotomist - Bev Hoare, Kelly Jankowski
Our Phlebotomists are responsible for obtaining blood samples as required by the GP or Hospital. You will usually be offered an appointment with them if you need a blood test.
Mrs Kim Henning
Kim is in charge of the reception staff. All the receptionists make appointments, answer telephones and perform other office duties. They can always give advice about the services here, and are fully aware of the importance of absolute confidentiality.

Health Visitors can be contacted on the number below. If they are not in their office when you ring you will be able to leave a message on their answerphone. They are primarily concerned with the under fives and also have a role in supporting the family.

The Practice has a community nursing team linked to the surgery. They can be contacted on the telephone number below. The team has very close links with the doctors and they visit the surgery several times a day to liaise with the doctors and staff. The doctors can ask them to care for patients in their own homes. The community nurses also work alongside our practice nurses ensuring continuity of care.

The Practice has two attached community midwives. Along with the doctors they provide antenatal care and visit patients after they have had their babies. They too have close links with the doctors and visit the surgery regularly to pick up messages.
